The Ontario Book Publishers Organization Welcomes Blue Moon Publishers
Blue Moon Publishers is pleased to announce that we have been accepted as the newest member of the Ontario Book Publishers Organization (OBPO), and we couldn’t be more excited about the partnership and the opportunities therein!
“The Ontario Book Publishers Organization is thrilled to welcome Blue Moon Publishers into its membership, especially since Blue Moon is our first member operating out of Stratford, a fantastic Ontario city with a flourishing literary scene!” says executive director Holly Kent. “We’re already in talks about the many ways we can work together on exciting upcoming projects.”
The OBPO represents Ontario-based, Canadian-owned independent publishers, and strives to represent the needs, interests, concerns, and issues of Ontario book publishers to government and arts organizations; facilitate information sharing and educational opportunities about the provincial, national, and international book publishing industries; and enable group marketing projects—both domestic and international—to their members.
“Working with the OBPO will open up countless opportunities for Blue Moon Publishers books and authors,” says project manager Talia Crockett. “We can’t wait to attend the Ontario Library Association Super Conference in February, for example, and to see our authors featured in interviews on Open Book.”
We’d like the thank the OBPO for their consideration, and look forward to working with them in 2018!
