We’ll be watching for your #Pit2Pub Tweets!
Blue Moon Publishers will be participating in #Pit2Pub again this year! The Twitter Pitch Party is happening on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, and we will be monitoring the feed all day long, looking for compelling 140-character pitches for your completed manuscripts. Make sure your pitch includes the #Pit2Pub and genre hashtags in your tweet so it comes to our attention.
Who’s Watching From Blue Moon Publishers
A number of our editors will be reviewing pitches via Twitter, and if we’re interested in reviewing your manuscript, we will let you know by a favourite on your tweet. Then contact us at email@example.com following the guidelines below. Last year, we signed on three authors from #Pit2Pub and are looking forward to more authors joining the Blue Moon Publishers family this year!
How to Submit to Blue Moon Publishers
If you get a favourite from us, follow our submission guidelines on our website. Then send us your request as soon as you can, taking note of the following:
- Read our suggestions on How To Make A Compelling Submission To A Publisher
- When sending your manuscript proposal, be sure to put “Pit2Pub Request: TITLE” in the subject line of your email. We get inundated with submissions but will be on the lookout for those we did favourite.
- Don’t tweet us directly, unless we tweet you first.
What We’re Looking For
We concentrate on Literary Fiction and Women’s Fiction in the Adult, Young Adult, New Adult, and Middle Grade age groups. We’re interested in any compelling story, but are particularly excited when we receive submissions that include the possibility of a series. If your manuscript is part of a series, give us a brief synopsis of your series and approximate number of books planned. If we see series potential in your manuscript, we’ll definitely discuss this possibility with you!
